It is with great pride that we announce our ALI remote learning workshop for African schools. The workshop is free of charge and is designed to help colleagues navigate learning online (and offline!). We have brought together some incredible pedagogues and thought leaders from the International Baccalaureate, the Western Academy of Beijing, the Aga Khan Academy and the International School of Geneva, La Grande Boissière to share best practice. Book the date: Saturday 4th of April from 13h00 to 17h00 CET. This workshop is open to all, join us, join ALI, unite our forces.
The final logo of ALI is here, courtesy our designer Kiki Kalahari. We went for the warmth of earthly colours to celebrate Mama Africa. As itcHighligs the importance of teachers and makes the ALI abbreviation visible, this logo will no doubt add clarity to our mission and help everybody remember our name. We are grateful for this symbol of the impact we want to have on quality education on the continent. Thank you in advance to all our supporters.
The launching of ALI in Switzerland takes place in collaboration with UNESCO! It is a great honour to have Dr Mmantsetsa Marope president of UNESCO IBE (international Bureau of Education), who will give the opening address at this launching ceremony co-organised with us by our colleagues from Bridging Development Gaps (BDG). A promising start for ALI! A big thank you goes to both our partners in this event.
